I left this lying link  around in" Airliners I'd like to have seen".   I think it really belongs here. A 10 engine Lancaster,  a Supermarine bomber and a Blackburn retractable float fighter amongst other delicacies to investigate.

the Blackburn flying boat seems based on reality

Nick

I'm pretty sure all these were based on genuine plans drawn up.
The Blackburn B-20 flying boat actually got as far as a prototype which flew in March 1940 but crashed just two weeks later.

Some super work there, a pity some of them never made it off the drawing board, my fave for reality would have to be the Blackburn B44, I love that retracting planing hull idea.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Yup Unicraft do the P99 and P100. Mike M has built both
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
