Paul

Hello folks!

My name is Paul and I just arrived here. I think the best way to introduce myself is showing a model... Am I right? So, bellow is my Phantombolt (or Thunderphantom?).  ;D

My What If thoughts started when I bought a great box of spare parts. The plan was to use the parts in other models, but somewhere in my rusty brain cames an idea ( sometimes this happens  ;D )... and if I combine some of these parts to create something "new"?

The model above was finished in 2013. I hope you like.

Thanks for approve me to the forum.

Cheers!

Paul.

Building stuff like that automatically qualifies you for the Forum Paul, you hardly need approval.

Welcome to the nuthouse.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Absurd.

Bizarre.

Grotesque, even.

Just that tinge of sanity lurking behind the sofa.

Utterly wonderful. Love it!

Welcome to the whiffery.
Cheers.

Thanks for your words folks!

For me, one of the best things in this hobby is: I can travel in the wings of the impossible. This is a poetic way to say I can build crazy things.  ;D

Best!

Oh nice one, and welcome aboard!

It rather reminds me of Tomzoo's artwork which we just found on Deviantart: http://tomzoo.deviantart.com/gallery/49155510/Aircraft

It's a 3d cartoon.
Excellent.
Welcome.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I like it also, mainly :
- the markings of a "different" country
- the heat marks on the tailplanes after the jet exhaust, "proving" this is a Real airplane, not fantasy at all!
Welcome!
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
