He219 1/32 Fighter to 1/48 Bomber

Title says it all. I've heard that the Revell kit is prime whiff material due to its flaws. I've googled as many images of the kit as possible and been seriously considering converting her into a 1/48 bomber. There's plenty of cheap kits around as sales have not been as robust as hoped. The cockpit and canopy would be simplicity with some plasticard etc. That gorgeous belly gun-bay again cries out to be bomb-bayed.

Love to get some input from others...ideas, hints, tips etc. I was just going to take the wings and graft them on the side of a 1/48 He177 but that just seems boring.

Seem plausible....? .
