That's so true.

If you want something in a sale the stock answer is "what do you need another one of those for ?"

If they buy something in the sale then their stock answer is " but it was such good value I just had to have it"
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Meanwhile, Mrs Scooter A would merrily run up the bills shopping, without a logical explanation... :banghead:

Winston Rowntree who creates the very wonderful Subnormality webcomic has launched a Patreon page to enable people to support it directly. For those who don't know, Patreon is a form of crowd funding that is designed to give working artists and performers a steady income in return for a steady stream of work, instead of them having to launch a new campaign for every project like they'd have to do on sites like Kickstarter. It seems like a pretty good idea to me, and yes, I've put my money where my mouth is and signed up as a patron. Very easily done (about 5 mins, pay by Paypal) and you can even cap the maximum donation per month so you know exactly what you're spending.

The link is below if you want to lend your support. Thanks if you do.

I might contribute if I had read some of his comics but I need a link (hint, hint).

If he learns to spell "comic" and swears never, ever to change to it to "comix" again.   ;D

^ See Weaver's posts #8 and #9 in this very thread. And I agree with Weaver: Subnormality can't possibly be praised enough. The early ones were good, the newer are ones are just phenomenally awesome.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Funny enough I was talking to my ex-boss lastnight and he was telling me that they had a email from a guy complaining that the 1/25 MPC Dukes of Hazard Police car he ordered was the real thing as in the film....... :banghead:  ;)

The Museum of the Theoretical reminds me of the very real International Cryptozoology Museum, in Portland, Maine. Perhaps not a large city, but definitely a museum that wouldn't ordinarily be open but for the dedication of a small but enthusiastic crowd.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
