More like an F-102 or F-106 wing I'd have said.

Taking a screenshot of the Anigrand bits gives me a chance of working out the shape though.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Well I'll be..........

I did a Google Image search on 'X-15C' and came up with a few good pics, one of which was on here! Back in 2009 a couple of guys did the XB-70/X-15C combo, one in tiny scale and one in 1/72! Even dafter was that I commented on the big one at the time.  :banghead: :banghead:

From that it seems that Monogram actually kitted the -C model in 1/72......

I must be nuts.

While on one hand I'm selling stuff on eBay like crazy, having far too many kits to build in the years I have left, I just bought an X-15A2 kit! As I have a standard X-15 already the A2 is slated  to have chunks of the standard one grafted into it, a longish delta wing stuck on each side and the whole shebang stuck on top of my XB-70.

I'll have it done around 2021 I expect...........   ;D

Build in a time-warp drive and show it to us sooner!
Cheers.
