Okay, it's been a while, but this one is still on the go. Excuse the crappy cel phone pics. Still trying to decide how to do any detail paint, needs something to break up all that white.

Hmmm. Pick an "anti-micro-meteroid" paint colour (gunmetal? Metallic dark green?) and paint the nose, intakes and leading edges with it. Put bold red stripes down the middle of the wings and the top and bottom of the fuselage, broken by the Maple Leaf roundels (assuming you're still using them). Then give it a pin wash of light grey/darker red to pull the detail out without being over-the-top.

Looking good Rat ! Very distinct. Cool ? Or Crazy Cool ! ? Love the look of it so far. Kinda 'clunky' like an A-wing, yet X-wing sleek !
