The improved Barnes Snorter something that might interest

I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with a model forum called Hip Pocket aeronatics, but if not, this is a forum that is  dedicated to model building, from historical sources, to scratchbuilding, and provides not only forums for discussion, but also has a plans gallery with just about everything, from three-views to(obviously) plans of all manner and sorts, whether of historical aircraft, to whimsical aircraft, to fictional aircraft, such as the following from the Bill Barnes comic strips.

I stumbled upon this whilst on an internet search for something else(isn't that how the seed for just about every other scale project, whether a whif or doing research on something else, is planted? At least for me this tends to be the case, ymmv), and ever since, I have been a fairly regular visitor.

Anyway, here is the 3 view for the Snorter. Kind of a nifty little twin engine float plane, with retracts, and an engine arrangement similar to any other tandem engine aircraft you might want to think of:
