If you put the Mustang belly radiator on it will be even less noticeable.

That would look cool. And the radiator needs to go somewhere !

I'm enjoying this! I'd never noticed the size similarity before.

Compare the performance too, very educational.....

Quite  I seem to remember one of the Torndo's nicknames was the 'Mighty Fin'  ;D
Although I can't for the life of me think what it was called when I worked on it? (Early Eighties)

Almost certainly some thing that is totally unrepeatable in polite company LOL
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

So while you lot have been chatting,
I've changed my mind, :o its not going to be quite so Retro....
I couldn't really get the tail dragger layout to look 'right'
So at the moment I'm going with the Flow so to speak.
Think T-28 Trojan...

I still want to re-shape the fin and rudder to a more Mustang like out line.

Thoughts?

Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

A single Tri-Stang  A seagoing variant eh ? The fin reshape looks easy enough. Just rid yourself of the filet and round off the bottom of the rudder a wee bit.
