Hobbit Pilots

Hobbits  on Eagles (F15 or actual) against  Nazgul on Dragons (De Havilland or actual). You could even justify it to the obnoxiously literal JMN as  "Not a whiff, it's exactly what the film script specified".

The Middle Earth Air Force has several possibilities.................

Ok, the idea of them, as allies, flying fighters and attack craft seems kinda pointless. Lots of nice strapping Imperium warriors for that.....but bombers. There's an idea, with their small gracile stature being a benefit. B-36s come to mind....that nice Pavla gun emplacement with 30mm barrels etc. Maybe a jump seat for a 1/48 observer. Oooooh the mind boggleth .

Hobbit sized FAC or ReCon aircraft seem interesting. Yes they are small but a small target is harder to hit. Could be almost like a drone but one with a thinking human (Hobbit?) brain and reasoning ability on the spot instead of many miles away. Hobbits in 'Normal' sized bombers as crew would seem to offer more room & weight for weapons and fuel also.
I can see a Hobbit crewman stomping down the center of a B-52 grumbling "Whose big was it to put the head way back there"?
