is it done yet?

Its getting ready to sail out of Boston Harbor tomorrow

With it being so cold on the upper east coast of the US right now, I wouldn't doubt it.  ;D  ;D

I do know that whatever hits the flight deck would have taken were to be easily repairable with seawater and an ample extra supply of wood pulp. Then supposedly, some type of flexible matting would be laid down.
Was there any easily repairable, or flexible matting, etc. surfaces that were used in WWII for airfields and carriers? Is there any info. available somewhere?
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Speaking of Boston did you see the video of the plow driver ? Hilarious ! Lots of profanity, but hilarious !
