I finally finished my first whif.

It all started as an inspiration from a set of patent drawings, DES 268,107, dated 1 Mar., 1983, which showed a heavily modified F16 with forward swept wings joined to a canard.

At first, I thought I could modify an F16 kit with a set of canards and scratch built wings, which turned into a bust.

Then I found an old X29 kit.

And ended up with this as the final model, one I am very happy  with:

It is interesting, well done on breaking your duck
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thank you all.

I wasn't  sure about  markings, so mentally flipped a coin and decided upon all white with no markings.

And, thinking more on this, I wonder how this  would handle as an RC model(scaled up, naturally, to take a 77mm electric ducted fan)

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
