The Wooksta!

For some odd reason, I've a tendecy to give many of my models nicknames, usually due to the code letter.  Uncle, Queenie, Dougal and Norman are just some of the names I've used.  This, for some odd reason, is Fab Five Freddy.*

It's just made up from a selection of bits left over in the spares box - a Heller 16 wing, prop, exhausts and u/c, Airfix old mk Ia fuselage, radiator and new tool Va oil cooler, Airkit tailplanes and canopy, Xtrakit mk XII wheels.  Plus some of my own resin cast cockpit interior bits.  Definitely one of my favourites with the totally fictitious mark no of FRX.IIIe and flown by an anonymous canadian sqn.

*Fab Five Freddy was a graffiti artist and DJ in the late 1970s.  He gets name checked in Blondie's "Rapture" and I think he may have appeared in the video too.

Wherever possible, ALL my models have kill markings.  And quite a few of my 2nd Tactical Air Force Spits have Maple leaves, not to mention the Poles and the Czechs too. Although they tend to fly Spitefuls.

Here's a few more Canucks

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
