Hello everyone. Hope it's right here.
(Note'm no expert aircraft)
After long deliberation I have done and my various accessories from Hannents ordered by a Finnish Bristol Blenheim MK.I to build.
In addition I have the decal sheet of Kuivalainen KUID7203 ordered me,

Link: http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/KUID7203

want to build a dan the following machines: Is faith a Finnish manufacturer decal or?
confused (Google search I find only one shop in Helsinki)
BL-184, July 1944 PLeLv 12
BL-185 April 1944 48 PLeLv
BL-189, August 1944 PLeLv 48
Now the first to ask. As for the paint.
The machines are light blue on the bottom and wingtips yellow.
Did they taken over by the air force and is there another reason? Are the color correct? Is a museum machine, but do not know if the original is painted or order was painted.
If the masking of these machines even or there are original pictures of it?
In Netzt nothing found.
Get home BROWSE my Airframe album, which says that.
Also, due to specific questions of detail. Antenna under his belt.
Antenna at the side. Engines, propellers.
Finnish bombs which fundamentally at the time of Sweden (got the order from Kora, are OK?)
Many questions and the packet meets hopefully in the next few weeks, is much in it.
And my album I see sometimes by, dan I can gather what still comes up to ask.
Agree Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have the time to scroll through the large amount of photos here, there are a lot of Finnish Blenheim pictures.

I'm away from home at the moment unfortunately. When I get back I'll look at my references, it will be a week though

I know Lifecolor paints now do a set of "authentic" Finish camouflage colours,
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

At least the Finnish Wikipedia page for Blenheim has a color photo from there: A Mk.1 landing in 1944:

Wikimedia has some more: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Bristol_Blenheim_in_the_Finnish_Air_Force

Finnish war time military aircraft colors varied for a few reasons, so date is important if you want an accurate model. For example, the yellow bands were painted on for positive ID of own aircraft (among larger numbers of Soviet ones). How much yellow was used, sometimes changed too.

Yes thanks friends that would be great.

Thank you.

FS34096 is a very good approximation for the Finnish light olive green tone. The dark tone is supposed to be black, but on any real aircraft pic I have seen it rather looks like a very dark olive drab.

Thanks a lot what colors of Valljeo would be da best for it Dizzy?

Ah, I am sorry - I am not familiar with the Vallejo range: I got FS34096 from Modelmaster (Authentic range, enamel), but it could be that the tone is also available as acrylic paint from the company? Not certain, though.
BTW, the tone comes also very close to the uniform post WWII "Russian Green", seen e. g. on late Il-2 or Il-10, as well as on many protytypes. The FS tone is lighter and a tad more olive, though - but it's a good fall-back option for Soviet aircraft, too.

I thought this may have been about an Irish Catholic Blenheim (ca. 1946-1950-ish).

Finnian = Fenian? :blink:

My error!
