From the look of the radome and the gun position the Thud is a very early model, perhaps an A or B model.

You never know ! Our job is supposed to be Sat or Sun so if we get prepped and loaded out maybe I could sneak down Thursday or Friday. Mind you, I'm mostly in it for the vendors

Thursday I will be on the Museum tour and then the Schmidts dinner. Friday I should be around most of the day until judging, then I will be trapped.

Ya for sure it would have been sweet. maybe not this year or the next, but I could plan Dayton, Akron, Columbus and Cleveland into a wee selfish getaway.

These are the perils of working in the oil patch tho. We have a 2-day moto practice Fri-Sat, then a big race Sunday. All up in the air for this single job off of a drilling rig ! They already had trouble with their BOP that delayed them, now they are back drilling but still have to run pipe and then cement it in place, then we do our inspection 48 hours after that, to let the cement set proper. So if we go by Murphy's Law, I'll be sat around the house, waiting on call, and we will end up going out Monday night or Tuesday morning !
