Hi all, this is my first artical on here, so I'll keep it brief. Having read the novel 20,000 leagues under the sea, the descriptions of Nemo's submarine set my imagination running, as, although the descriptions are very accurate, there is no definitive answer to what exactly the nautilus looks like, so here's my attempt..... It's fashioned from a 1:48 Tornado drop tank and miscellaneous parts from the spares box and a good dollop of milliput.

Cool idea, and the smallest Nautilus I've seen yet.

On the Imageshack page you can click 'Get links', select Type: Forum, and paste the code into your post here. That'll get you at least a thumbnail (you need a paid account to get the ability t olink fullsize images, it seems).

RAFF-35

Ahh right, thanks for the tip :D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks, I've tried to follow the descriptions as close as possible while still being able to work in the real world, which is why I've fitted some horizontal planes at the rudder so that it could dive properly, only took two days to build too :D

I really like this build. Much more hydrodynamic than the Disney version. That one was quite a drag.....
Looks like a nice project to do if a person gets bogged down in a complicated project. An airship kit might be a base for a larger version.

Oooh, an airship would make a good base actually :D
