I like the look of that, nice thinking.

And now for a low wing Hercules!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Being a 737 fan, I really like the look of this one !

If you copy and paste the last link on the PB site ( the IMG one ) it will post the photos right to your thread, instead of having to open another browser window.

If you were to turn the engines up side down.......

Exactly, like they did on the Orion for instance.

Thread revival! Actually got some work done on the high wing 737. I didn't know what to do with it so I added some fuel tank halves as fairings top and bottom and painted it testor's grey on top and camo grey underneath. I went with the Testors as it was gloss and would facilitate the decalling. This scheme mimics the USAF special ops scheme. The idea was a new JSTARS/C3 type with smaller more modern equipment inside. Decals are all picked out so I just need a couple hours to apply them.

I may revisit the relief transport but I just wanted to move in a positive direction on this one. Its been sitting around far too long.

Looking nice in those colours
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Oh wow...she's really looking good now ! Glad you're back at it what a beautiful looking machine.

SWMBO is out of town this weekend so I was able to get some decals on today.
Turned out pretty nice if I say so myself!

The Testors grey was spray painted with a rattle can and everything else was hand painted. Decals are from the kit, an A-10 sheet, an F-16 sheet and a couple of strays from the bottom of the decal bag.

Pretty and sleek.
The next development could be putting the angines OVER the wings, à la Beriev Be-200. With those sponsons, it's a natural amphibian, for those intervention zones where airports have been earthquaked. I am sure some humanitarian agncy is already hinking this over.  <_<
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

There you go, giving me ideas again! Overhead cargo doors would be required.....

With overwing engines, space near the sponsons is free, so cargo doors on fuselage sides over the sponsons would allow easy unloading to boats etc., or along a pier.
