Yes I had a bit of a break from modelling , mostly down to doing a course through work and not having enough hours in the day . So I had a few hulls on the stocks that needed fitting out. Although HMS Camel was a new build.

The crane is mounted on part of a garden sprinkler from pound land :), the funnel contained screen wipes and the dome was from a plastic ball containing a toy from a vending machine.

The gun tubs are furniture casters and the AA gun barrels are florists wire .

The superstructure is from one of my early ship projects a convertible hull which could be both a liberty ship and a 4 piper destroyer . This was before I learnt to appreciate realistic scales  ;D
