I didn't realize what a shapely beast the A350 was ! Lovely. Scratching up some pods should be easy enough with an old bomb or drop tank etc.

The pods on a Victor tanker are close to what the Voyager has, just needs the rear end re-shaped

i got plans to build some tankers, but i intend to convert a pair of 1/144 "Hindenburg" droptanks, from a Revell Tornado GR.1, into tanker pods, as these to me are the most suitable

Grrr... You lot and your extremely plausible ideas as to what would make suitable underwing
Refueling pods some of which I might have in the stash/spares box.....
Unfortunately me and said objects of desire are more miles/kilometers apart than is desirable
So.... (I like me dots don't I?) 
We've done this to our over long refueling pods

They now look a bit fat, so in a quick bit of bodge  thinking the refueling pods are now duel
Purpose. The top half now houses an ECM suite and the bottom the hose, drogue and reel.
(Well you have to protect these expensive assets)
We've (as in the royal we)  added some antenna and a splash of BOG applied with a hairy stick,

It's looking a bit tight for the dead line if I'm honest learning new (old) aeroplanes takes
It's toll.

Still, it's progress and she's getting there ! I like the idea of a dual purpose pod. Why not ? The ECM suite has to go somewhere !

That's a very cool idea! Dual-purpose pods would make this a real "force multiplier".
