Gondor

The first of what may be many shows at the Hilton at Edinburgh Airport, Shame it clashed with the Flight day of the Scottish Airshow at Prestwick  :banghead:

Looked well attended if a little crowded in places. Lots going on and lots of people there. Word of advice for anyone attending next year, get there early as parking is limited as long as you leave me a space!

Here are Whiff pictures I took at the show along with pictures taken in one of the competition rooms of a very nice model of the Airfix HMS Invincible, I have one to build which is why I took some reference pictures of what can be done with the kit.

So in no particular order my pictures:

The Wooksta!

I spent some time talking to the guy who did the twin Blohm und Voss and the Junkers Ju 390.  He had some very impressive 72nd Napkinpanzerwaffe and was very enthusiastic about what if in general.  So much so, I gave him wor address here.  Hope to see him soon.

The Lightening flying over the runway in the background of the picture of the Ju 390 had no pilot in it. Amazing aircraft the Lightening

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing ! Love the sub scene...that looks like real water ! The Spitfire collection in just marvelous, and that carrier is superb !

:drink:

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !

HMS Illustrious was superb. I have one in the stash so wanted pictures to help me build it later. Only thing that looked wrong to me were the sidewinders were a little on the large side but understandable in 1/350 scale
