You could be very careful and try and do a bit of strategic glueing  ;D
Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

Captain Canada

Ya that's only the first coat and no primer so I can scrape off a wee bit here and there to add some details.

Cool! BoB camo looks so good on that airframe.

And I must say I like Midge.

Thanks Zac !

I'm going to add a few bits from the spares bod to the nose, and fill in the holes under the wing. With the l/g layout and wing cord there is more than enough room for a pair or three .303's in each wing.

Up on her feet ! I used the 'in-flight' bits from the Airfix Spit, and added new oleos and wheels from the spares bin. Added some bits to the engine and drilled out some wing guns. Lots of fiddly paint to do still, then decals and weathering.

Defo going to change those gear covers. For one thing the just look wrong, and secondly, they nowhere near match the actual cutouts ! What was I thinking  :banghead:

Great nose job Capt  It's starting to get difficult to see her parentage. It's only those wings really
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks Chris ! You're right, it is all in the wings now eh ? I forgot to mention that I did end up using the open option from the Airfix Gladiator. Made it too easy as I didn't have to match up and edges or widths, yet still looks the part

Thanks guys. I touched up a bit of the paint last night and removed the offending landing gear doors. Didn't get as far as I had wanted but maybe this afternoon
