This is another museum piece pressed back into service by the Cartel, and to be honest, still does the job asked of it admirably. The aircraft has had several upgrades, and is one of 6 believed to be in service with the Cartel. The kit is the A model 1/72nd scale item and wasn't really that bad of a build going off other A models builds I have done. The build is awaiting some weathering, and then it can join the other cartel builds that survived being in storage.

That DOES look mean Chris!

I've got one of those kits myself, I must dig it out......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Yup looks good  The more recent A Model kits are quite good builds. Loads of parts because they have mould size restrictions apparently but get over that and they are ok
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I quite fancy doing a mandrake too, as the Cartel don't have any dedicated recon birds, apart from a mig-21 R.

As do I.
However my idea is not longer wings on that just bigger/better engines.

Lovely.  Great result.
I've got 2 of these in the stash plus an A model Yak 38 (which is terrible - i've gone to build it twice and given up both times before I've even started).
I'm waiting for inspiration to strike with the 28s.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I know your pain Zenrat, I have done a few of their kits now, because they make he stuff I am into, and they have brought far too much frustration. Saying that, I am building a Modelsvit kit at the moment, and that is proving to be as bad to build.
