Good afternoon Gents.. Here are the last two and maybe the only two projects that I got done in '15'. The CH-54 is OOB with Blackhawk weapons pylons and rockets added for self defense. I read that when these big boys went out on a mission, they always needed Slicks or Cobras for cover so, I gave it a little bit of a bite itself. I scratch built the Daisy Cutter out of a large Stuka bomb cylinder and added bits like the fuse and misc decals to round it out, including the parachute on the back end. The CH-54 did in fact deliver Daisy cutters, so this wasn't a big stretch of the imagination.

Here's my version....

The next one was supposed to be a straight forward OOB build of the Revell 1/48 Choctaw. As the build progressed, things just didn't work out as I planned, so it went into the "probably never to be finished" storage bin. Then one day, I thought about adding the wing and engines/props from a hanger queen V-22 to make a what if early VTOL. Considering the mess I started out with, I'm pleased with the results. Still haven't come up with a name, but that's alright.. ;D

Isn't that one of those bombs they used in Vietnam to create landing grounds in thick jungle?

Eddie !

Excellent work my friend. Love them both....hard to pick a favourite out of those two ! OK, the -54. Love the way that loos, just so right. The huge bomb and the rails add so much interest to it.

The Choctaw is looks very period as well. Love the mods to that one, sure to turn a few heads !

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
