Early Saturday morning arrival for me too. Sunday will be a different matter as I will be at the Church of the Holy Rude, near Stirling Castle so the Queen uses it as her local church when she visits, helping to ring the bells for the morning service prior to heading back to Perth.

...and here is my posting.

Photos from this year's (2016) Scottish Nationals at Perth.
Others may well have other photos to share.
These are links to Photobucket albums.

First the winner of the IPMS Dundee "Wha' If" Trophy, which both OGL and myself have been recipients off.
The final model is 1/144 scale, has been made from bits and pieces of various scale models, and is called "BITSA"

The What If SIG display.

Then we have What Ifs on other stands/displays.

Lastly there is the "Great British Make Off" display. Based on the British TV series, The Great British Bake Off,  in which people compete to be best at baking.

Some great kits there.........i really like the Alien one above......
BODY,BODY....HEAD..!!!!

IF YER HIT, YER DEAD!!!!

The SIG seemed to have a Yak-15 group build display going on, and elsewhere it looked like a Defiant-fest, 4 gun turrets EVERYwhere!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Great pics chaps.  Thanks for sharing.

I like this one.  Twice the turrets but it's still not possible to fire them forwards!  Excellent.  Is that a Fulmar canopy?
Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That is one of my favorites as well. OGL and I are of the opinion that it is indeed a Fulmar canopy.

The Wooksta!

The Defiant could fire the guns in the forward position.

I was told by a guy who worked on them that it couldn't because they weren't synchronised to the prop

So he's run out of Wyvren's ?  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That Defiant on floats with the radial engine is FANTASTIC!

I've a Sea Defiant planned but I want to fold one wing so will need to garner my courage

The Wooksta!

You may be better off using a Pegasus Defiant TT as the outer wing panels are separate.  Remove the TT blister and have it as a BPF COD aircraft.
