I can get them in the post on Monday, PM me your snailmail address and I'll wrap them up Geoff.

Do you just need the 66 Sqdn. section of the sheet, or some more of it as well?

[20 secs after Weaver's post.....  ;D]

Its just the 66 sqdn badge markings really as its not for a Hunter  ;)

PM on its way

It has the squadron crests, two larger snakes on white circles, and distinctive blue/white triangles around the roundels instead of the more usual bars. This profile shows the scheme, but the one in the box has a squared off front end to the traingles instead of rounded as in the profile. The one in the box is XF462:

Yeap its sqdn badges I'm after, I don't need the bars for the build I'm doing, although interesting to note that somebody got them wrong !

There's a thread about it here:

Assuming those folk are correct, the short version is that the Hunter F.6 in question had a straight edge flash, but some of the T.7s had a rounded one, which confused Revell. The early version of the decal sheet had the round-edge flash, but they corrected it for subsequent print runs.

I need to make contact with them to find out when we can go and visit the archives, any Avro/HS projects your particularly interested in, personally I would like to see the final drawings for the HS-681 if available.

Nothing specific, although any info on the Atlantic or developed 707s and 727s wopuld be interesting.

The major problem with Avro research is unfortunately unfixable, namely the fire at Chadderton in the 1950s that destroyed a lot of their archives.

Both the sheets I have are the round edged versions, not that Geoff will need them apparently.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
