1932 Deuce Coop

The local model club had their contest theme this year as "Deuce Days in Scale", coinciding with the "Deuce Days", 1200 plus 1930s cars (Mostly 32s) all in one place. But i digress. This is what I built:

First, I cut out the doors


Then I did primary painting using Tamiya spray cans


Vallejo "Environmental Effects" rust was painted on to give it a gritty, pre-restored look


A second layer or green was airbrushed on, using a Vallejo Dark Green. Various shades of Vallejo "rust" were rubbed in to give that aged, abandoned car look.


The ramp and roosting boxes were built using basswood.

Viola!






Too late I discovered they had said "Coupe", not coop.

Oh well, my 1932 Ford Deuce Chicken Coop.
