I can think of a few people on here who will want one or more of those
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

MPM has announced a new family of Mirage F.1 kits in the One True Scale TM (1/72, obviously!)! An F.1C, C-200, CR, CT, a twin-sticker F.1B and even a South African F.1AZ.
I'm one happy camper!
More pics on ARC (LINK).

Friends of the quarter scale will probably appreciate this one:

F-86K (more pics of that on ARC - LINK).

Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

I'm not a modern jet man but that Mirage does look good

A two-seat Mirage F1!

Thatll be the first time you can get one since Heller somewhat stupidly removed the two seat bits from their F1 sprues. I hope it's not too pricey, even though I have a few Heller examples in The Loft.

Does anyone know anything about the forthcoming MPM Sunderland Mk V?

All under the Special Hobby banner now, but I'll put it here rather than start a new thread.

I didn't realise the 1/72 Barracuda that's just been issued is a new tool. I thought it was a re-boxing, but apparently it's from new metal moulds. May have to pick one up at Telford or wait for the SEAC boxing which will probably follow the current Atlantic one.

I have a project to build an example of each aircraft that were on HMS Indefatigable when my dad served on her

I saw a bit about that in the latest SAM, it's just GOT to be better than the ancient FROG version!

That's where I read it Kit.

I've built the previous MPM/SH tooling and it was limited run but still a decent build and went together well.

For those who don't already know, Special Hobby are discontinuing the Azur and MPM brands, and are selling off all the kits in those boxings at a SERIOUS discount at the moment. There's also a lot of CMK bits in the sale too, and P&P from the Czech Republic, at lest to the UK, is reasonable. Ends March 1st:
