What-if Kamikaze Dinah trainer finished.

This Dinah trainer was one of many aircraft used by the Kamikaze to fight off the attempted allied invasion of Kyushu on November 1st 1945 during Operation Downfall.





Look at the size of that insect! Caused by radiation?

So its a trainer used as a kamikaze and not an aircraft for training kamikaze pilots?

I got this image of the kamikaze pilots test with an examiner sitting there with a clipboard while the pilot dives down at an enemy ship.

Good job, but I must admit I like the pic with the giant insect best.

By late 1945 things were going so bad for the Japanese that every available aircraft including trainers were to be used against the upcoming allied invasion.
A severe lack of fuel stopped any training flights as well as fighter operations, commanders realized the best possible use for the remaining aircraft and fuel stocks was to use them as Kamikaze during the expected allied landings on Kyushu.

Thanks M.  Were I a pilot I think the best use of the available fuel would have been to fly as far as I could in the opposite direction.
