Really great concept & brilliant execution.  Love the pop down floats from the slipper tanks especially.

Thank you. At least, it's one of the weirdest. And cutest!

A thing of beauty.  Weird beauty, but beauty nonetheless!

What a great concept!  Looks spot on!!

Thank you - yours is excellent, too, and, honestly, my build would not have been possible or "started" without my joke post at your ZELL project's early stages!  ;)

your pictures are excellent as usual (geographically accurate even!) but the "water" is particularly good.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thank you - yes, learning by doing. The water is a clear and shiny kitchen wrap, with a dark olive shirt below. Somehow I got a lot of light reflexes (also from the poster backgrounds), and this adds much to the realism. I also paid more attention to "sculpting" waves from the thin foil, just a little photo editing was done around the waterline around the hull, because the kit would not "sink" too deeply into the shirt/foil cushion. But it looks good - especially on the harbor scene with the crane, ship and halls in the background. Finding a good perspective and horizon line are vital, too, though.

Dear Dizzifugu,

Initially working (i.e.: reading & writing) on past seaplanes, I ended up assembling some data on Fleet Air Arm aircraft where more seaplanes seem to be "hidden" which brought me back to the initial item - blame/thanks the intricacies of search engines.

Anyway, having other things to do this morning, I was suspended for a moment seeing  what looked like a very unknown jet fighter seaplanes... Couldn't proceed any further as I had other commitments and when reverting to my screen a dozen hours later, i totally forgot what the subject of my search had been a dozen hours ago but just went to explore ... your fantasy creation

Whether my fictional endeavor(*) will ever fly off my desk is a matter yet to be seen, but inserting your design is very tempting !  I'll start with a draft "background note" pending your reaction.  Whichever your stand, congratulation for your imagination and art work.  All the best,
