Nice idea having sharks in the carrier's "pool". It will keep the crew on their toes!  ;D
I wonder how the aircraft lift problem is solved.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

There's another tracked contraption in front if it with a giant fan blowing back on the carrier.  "Turn 'er into the wind!  Er.... Turn the wind on!"    ;D

I hadn't made it to that racing tank yet. Wow!

I wonder if Mr. Mott ever did any model kit box art?

Yep, replete in Briggs Cunningham racing stripes and no doubt partly inspired by Cunningham's  Le Monstre LeMans Caddy.

Definitely check out the Stan Mott site linked in Harold(Weaver)'s post:

History of Tanks entry:

Caption for the Christie-Cunningham:
The Christie-Cunningham LeMans Sportank (1962). The ultimate American sportank, designed by J. Walter Christie and financed by millionaire sportsman Briggs Cunningham, was winner of the 1962 French LeMans 24-hour no-holds-barred classic. Its low profile, heavy armament, and high speed allowed driver Cunningham himself to knock out most of the competition. To put it is his own words: "It was really gratifying to blast all those foreign bastards to hell. I guess I can go home now."

Those tanks... so flippin' cool.

Oh man, it's worth the trip for the captions..

About the big ol' plane up there...  Made world's longest taxi run from the suburbs of Omsk to the Kamchatka Peninsula, where it now serves as world's widest archipelago.   ;D ;D
