mix glosscoat with matt paint for smoother airbruch flow

just saw this on Hyperscale: one bloke recommends mixing MM matt paint with MM glosscote (gloss varnish, I suppose) to achieve a smoother airbrush paint flow....suppose it'll work with compatible matt enamel paints and some kind of enamel gloss varnish
