For those that dont know me my name is Petko and i live in Sofia the country is Bulgaria what im supposed to shear with all of you here in this thread are my Rotor aircraft and other projects i love to build every kind of models ( yes i love helicopters most ) size dose not matter at all everything from 1:350 to 1:16 since im Bulgaria and in European Bulgaria you cant find what you are looking for or if you find it its in the wrong scale you learn to adapt

here is my first project for this topic the one helicopter that is what if out of the box zvezda's Kamov Ka-58 but can we do it even more what if
the answer is yes make it Drone ( and yes i love to make UAV's out of everything as much as i love helicopters  )
the project is simple this is the Electronic-warfare and reconnaissance unmanned variant of the ka-58 family aka kamov V-120.4

since thats my 8th Ka-58 (no im not joking ) the other 7 are modified as follows

• fenstrion and 6 bladed main rotor


• NOTAR with 4 bladed rotor


• rece unit without mods


• attack unit without mod s


• attack mods and ka-50 body kitbash


• another NOTAR this time ship based variant


• another kitbash this time with modern sight

and this one wold be my definitive model after 15 years of bulding 58's
it would be a NOTAR (since i prefer NOTAR config for my models nothing personal ) we are making next gen machine here not a toy
after the amount of time researching the 58 and after the recognition on Kamov's  CAIC Z-10  involvement its safe to assume that Ka-58 was something that kamov was working on for some time in the early 2000's there is no other explanation for the similarities  of the ka-58 and Z-10

here is the 6 bladed rotor (i we decided to make it a NOTAR after all ) dry fit



i still cant decide if i want to add more draggy stuff on it since this is the basic Ka-58 with jamming equipment and since the weapons bay's are interchangeable it plugs directly to the Roga-S integrated jamming system  of the helicopter 


that's what im after Mi-8SMV/PP/PPA aka Airborne jamming platform
