Blimey, and I thought a Napier Sabre was complicated... :o

It's specific output wasn't that good, was it, considering it was almost two Merlins worth of capacity for about the same horsepower?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Look at it this way - its capacity was similar to the R-3350 and it generated about the same amount of power as the R-3350 did at that time. And the R-3350 was, indeed, around twice the capacity of the Merlin.

Update:

Wings from Ta 152H have been grafted onto a FW 190A-8 fuselage.  The lines aren't perfect, and it took some silly putty filler, but overall not bad for some major surgery.  The larger wing also came with a larger wing box.

The tail is extended, though not to full length of the 152.  It was a bit too stubby with the A-8 tail.

I'm going with the "Graf" graphics.  More to follow.

My interpretation of what little is known about the FW 190A-10.

"Late in the war, the A-10 was fitted with larger wings for better maneuverability at higher altitudes, which could have allowed additional 30 mm (1.18 in) calibre, long-barreled MK 103 cannon to be fitted."

This is shown in aluminum with Hermann Graf markings ( "flames" ).

Keeping with the WHIF theme, this would actually be the Dz 702 powered long-wing B-10.

30mm Mk 103s with muzzle brakes on the inner wing stations.  13mm cowl guns now 20mm MG-FF-M.  While this particularly fighter would lack any fast-firing guns, the entire purpose of its existence is to target large bombers and hammer them with HE rounds.

Though with the high-altitude aerodynamics and deadly firepower, it would also be more than a handful for any allied escort or interceptor.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
