The ideal is visiting it when also the "reserves" (on the other side of the airport) are open:

The Reserve Collection looks very interesting, I think it would have been hoping too much for them to be open on the one day I was at the museum of the one week I was in Paris

It looks like the MiG 23 (?) made it over to the main collection (see below) and there are two more SAABs to add to the Lansen. Obviously the are LOTS of French aircraft at Le Bouget, but I enjoyed seeing the more unusual ones

So the rest of the aircraft parked outside - apologies in advance for shadows and railings! ;D

Oh to be whiffing again :-(

There's just something "right" about MiG 21s.  Especially the early ones before the spine got filled out.

Thanks for sharing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Outstanding stuff there, both the pics themselves and the collection. They seem to have a somewhat wider view of aviation than many UK museums.

That Super Mirage 4000 really looks the business!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks for sharing.  Great pix, and an amazing collection.  When I went in 2012 the between-the-wars hangar was closed, so I'm glad to see your pix of that.  The Saabs and 23 were outside, and the Rafale and Super Etendard were uncovered.

Thanks for sharing your fascinating pictures - must visit one day.
