I got done spray painting the bottom portion of my best friend's 1/350 Tamiya Enterprise hull with Tamiya TS-33 Dull Red spray paint yesterday. It may or may not be the right shade, but my local hobby shop is limited on spray paints, so I had to use what's available.
I don't think Dull Red comes in a smaller bottle (For brushing, touch ups, etc.), so is there another Testor, Tamiya, or other brand color that comes close to the Dull Red spray shade that I can use for brushing and touch ups??
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Tamiya paints come regularly (also) in large and in (rarely) small glass bottles. There used to be Humbrol 177 as "Hull Red" (OOP, though), maybe Humbrol 70 or Revell 37 (both Brick Red) are alternatives? But it seems as if TS-33 is a rather ruby-red, deep tone - the Brick Reds are more yellow-ish?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
