Rolls-Royce Phantom II (or Petersen Bentley with RR Meteor engine)

For a project I'm looking for the dimensions of the RR Phantom II, esp track front/rear and wheelbase.

I've done some searching, and I've come up with a large variation of values, so that's less than helpful.

Does anyone have a Phantom II kit in their stash they could measure?
Italeri and Pocher made kits of this car.

I could buy an Italeri kit, but it seems silly to do that when I just need the chassis rails. This is the intended recipient:

IIRC R-R built the Phantom, both I and II, to whatever wheelbase the customer's wanted as they were all built to spec.

So you could chose any of the wheelbase figures you like I guess.

Isn't that a Bentley in your pic though? It looks like a lengthened Speed Six, or maybe an 8 Litre with an open body shell.

That's a special built by Petersen Engineering, it has a 27-litre Meteor engine. The styling is based on the 4.5 litre Blower, but everything's scaled up by "a bit" to accommodate the engine. This has been done so well you don't notice it in photos, but it's a lot bigger than the Blower.

Specs of the Petersen design are hard to come by, but I know they used a Phantom chassis. So if I can find some good data for that, I can work out the rest from photos.

It looks like the 'standard' Phantom IIs had either a 150 ins or 144 ins wheelbase, and those figures crop up on quite a few web sites.

I did a rough scaling job on that pic you posted, using the distance between the Meteor's exhaust ports as a reference length, and came up with a wheelbase of 132 ins.
