Very nice build.
But, Kit, at Habbaniya I'd have expected to see it under british markings. they were flying anything they could get their hands on, from what I have read!

Dead right, and even some they didn't have......

My Dad told the tail that they built a whole Vickers Valentia from spare parts found in the hangars at Habbaniya, and then got into trouble for not giving it a serial no., not for building it in the first place
