I'm thinking YELLOW for my Corvette. It looks pretty. Everyone else will do red or silver or blue. Black would be OK with a red trim interior but a tad dark.

As it's a red plastic kit I'm going to use white primer and hope that if the red does come through it'll just mean a deeper yellow overall.

I did have a can of yellow that I used for a Sea King years ago but that was Humbrol and very thick. Not sure I still have it!
It might be the wrong shade too. So I'm looking to use a Tamiya spray, possibly TS-16 if I can find it in a shop.

Clear with a touch of black in it will tone down the chrome engine parts nicely.

I need a break from it all. Not in the mood for anything work or model related or family stuff.


So I'm off to the Lakes tomorrow for the week. My plan includes getting out in the fresh air, finishing my Wainwright round (212 of 214 hills climbed so far), climbing some more hills, having nice pub meals 
general pottering around, exploring the local villages and doing things in my own time.

I want to visit Barrow but it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays      A boat ride out to Piel Island for a pint is on the cards.
