It's Whiffer heaven.  Want a new project?  just go down, have a rummage and grab wings, fuselage, engines, filler, sandpaper, more sandpaper, extra filler...

That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking. The shop also had lots of rare old kits (albeit only 1/3 of the ones I was looking for. I got my Fiat G.91 but I couldn't find a F-7F Tigercat or Macchi 52/72), however they weren't particularly cheap. I had way more fun digging around in the dusty bags of lost sprues and finding treasures.
