Yes, I've been quiet around these here parts for a while, but I've been hobbyating nonetheless. You'll see my USAAC Sukhoi in the group build.
Here I've taken a 1/600 war-game level kit and detailed it. It's from a company called Old Glory 25s. (I'm just a customer) and they put a lot of work into getting their resin hulls accurate. The details are all white metal, which is soft and can be bendy. There's a line of turn-of-the-20th century ships, which I do adore with all those guns and stacks like one expects on a proper warship.  ;D
This is the USS Saratoga, ACR-2. She had been named USS New York, but renamed later to free that name for a new battleship. Later she would be renamed USS Rochester to free Saratoga for a new battlecruiser. She ended up in the Philppines as an accommodation ship.

Some day I'll buy another and whif her into the Philippine Navy's major combat vessel after the US granted them independence, for strategic reasons, in 1926 rather than post WW2. I might even have her escape the invasion during early WW2 and come to the US to be upgraded.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

That's nice mate. I've got a soft spot for warships of this era.

Seeing the name "Old Glory" brings back memories. I've probably still got some old white metal armour from them somewhere.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
