The conversion work was pretty easy if truth be told.  As much PSR was needed on the dodgy stock Italeri seams as on the interface with the A Model cockpit.

The nose seems like a natural fit, but the real eye-catcher is the "fake outline" camo. Did you intend to give her the visual impression of a MiG-21, or were you more after F-5 outline to pay tribute to the "MiG-28"?

Love the whole concept, the build and scheme both work really well. I love it when a kit gets transformed like this.

A little background on the black-gray plastic subject. I have the MiG-37 kit in both black and gray plastic. Basically any of the original issue Italeri kits from the first production were black like their F-19 kit. The most recent issue boxing 2010 is in the gray plastic. Kit was also issued by Testors and Bilek, both in black. I'm not as sure on the 1/48 boxing as far as plastic color etc.

Snowy - The fake outline wasn't really a conscious attempt to look like anything in particular except maybe I was thinking "US Aircraft" when I drew it on.
