The Lost P-74 Fighter Idea

Ok the Designated number P-74 was never used during WWII. But I'm thinking if that number had been used, I'm thinking some other Fighter planes Like Nazi fighters like the Me-262, Me-163, He-162, Ho-229, Ect Or British fighters like the Gloster Meteor could be the candidate for the designated P-74. On the Other hand, Some Japanese Fighters could be the P-74 like the A6m Zero. Or some fighter planes from the post war era like the Mig-9, Yak-15, Yak-17, or perhaps the de Havilland Vampire would be the perfect candidate.

Or maybe the Pre Cold War era fighters like the Mig-15 could be designated as the F-74. What do you guys think?

Well the XP-71 and XP-75 were 1941/1942 period designs so perhaps a designation for reverse Lend Lease Spitfires or Beaufighters ?
