2 things come to mind:  Japanese SAR in high viz and turboprops and a University of British Columbia research aircraft in Canadian colors.  Maple leafs, yes, just not in roundels.

Thanks H.  I love this sort of thing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

An absolutely GLORIOUS drawing of an equally glorious aeroplane. Well  spotted H.

In line with your 'Kit was everywhere in the 50s' theory, the Princess drawing should have my right hand print on it where the red circle is below.  ;D

When G-ALUP was cocooned at Calshot I walked down the Spit, determined to touch one of the Princesses, having watched G-ALUN fly at Farnborough earlier, and I succeeded.  ;D

That was before the RAF Corporal saw my feet sticking out underneath the cocooning and hauled me out. :(

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

For only £150, this 72nd one could be yours!

I'm very tempted - the only thing that's holding me back is where the hell do I store the damn thing?  And that's BEFORE I build it...

He also does a 48th one for those with size issues.

There's a 350th scale kit, but that's for kids, dude!

I saw that a while ago. But held off for much the same reason.

How much of that shipping container would it fill?

The price is very reasonable, although the HMRC may want their pound of flesh, not to mention their gestapo lackeys at the Royal Mail.

A fair chunk of the space LOL

HMRC would want more than a pound of flesh, They would also take one of your kidneys.........and thats before the post office adds their "handling Fee" (read Ransom demand!)

Why not arrange for it to be delivered to a Whiffer outside of the UK and the make special trip to collect it from them?  Just bring it in, in the boot of your car (if it will fit).

Impressive,  I know that I have said this before but I know that I can build a mini  version using the Academy
Boeing B-377  with a  hull and different wings. Getting the engines or scratch building them would be a headache.
Besides I have the 1/72 HS Andover AEW kit from the same chap, which needs to be built in stages with the patience of a saint,  it's a bit fiddly  :banghead:

I just ordered his HP-42 kit.
Got an email back that he needs time to prepare and will ship in 21 days.

I'll let you know when it arrives.

Or arrange for Kit to pick it up in his 850 estate ;D

I always liked the Princess (I actually saw the cocooned ones but unlike Kit never got close enough to touch one) and it was producing a fictional  backstory  for this aircraft  https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=30998.msg476460#msg476460  in Jan 2011** that was my first ever foray into Whiffery.

Jan 2011**  Great heavens, have I really been involved here that long!!

I checked and it's quite large enough for that, maybe even a 1/48 version!  ;D
