Voir et Savoir 16: Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat

Ok, so I settled on using the 1-week build to start on my Tintin related "Voir et Savoir" project.  It's based on a series of drawings Hergé did to illustrate the history of aviation.

In one week, this is going to have to be a no-frills kind of project. So, I'm planning on doing a straight OOB build with the wheels up.  First time ever to use a pilot in the cockpit and a stand.  I'm pretty familiar with this little kit since I'm currently doing a wing-mod detailed up build.  So I don't anticipate any real problems.  If it goes super well, I might try to also do a Fiat G.91 build using the old Airfix kit as well...

Two cool paintings there ! I don't know what it is with navy subjects and their box art these days ! Very evocative I can see and hear that thing slamming onto the deck. Good luck !
