I could tell stories about Rolls Royce body shells built on Mondays that always failed inspection and had to be fettled. And about road simulator control systems that had to be re-booted every Thursday too, but they're perhaps for a different thread than this fascinating one.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Wasn't until I clicked the link that I realised you had made a spelling error, and my main question was answered: Who the $%*# would name a ship HMS Exploder?!  ;D :blink:

No spelling mistake, that's what the crew called Explorer and Excalibur!!
