Thank you! Well worth the wait, what a beauty!! Love that camo, the loadout and the IFR probe, fits it like a glove!
Just one question, did you switch the LANTIRN pods' position on purpose? Looks a bit weird like that but it's just cause i'm not used to seeing them like that, normally the AN/AAQ-28 goes on the right side, station 5R and the AN/AAQ-13 on 5L...  But it looks good, that's what matters here, great work!
BTW, what kit is that? And where did you get that IFR probe?

I didn't realize they were the wrong way around. I suppose that's what instructions are for...D'oh!  I did try them the other way, but they didn't look right. They were hanging down, and I thought they were meant to stick out sideways.

The kit is the Skunkmodels 1/48 kit.  Lovely kit!

The IFR is straight off a Tornado. I used the same type on my "standard" RAF F-16.  It fits straight on!

Well, i can easily understand your mistake cause when i built my first F-16, i had the same doubt. But as i suffer from Acute Falconnitis Syndrome , i looked it up and found that i was wrong. But that's just a minor detail on a lovely build, no problem for me. It is a whif so you can say they were changed for aerodynamic testing purposes. ;)
I was wondering about the kit cause i couldn't really identify the scale but i suspected that it was the SW kit because of the canopy and a few other details. I've got to start thinking of building mine cause that's one of my favorite versions of the Viper.

Great build and really well done, love the finish and detailing   This puppy makes the F-105 look like the Tooth Fairy  ;)

DFZ . . . . . What is the cure for "Acute Falconnitus Syndrome"  ?????

steelpillow

Very nice.
F-16 whiffs always look good.
double-delta wings ditto.
F-16 XL must be the most pleasing beast to base any whiff on, and you have done it proud.
Cheers.

Don't know if there is such a cure and really don't care, it's a condition i'd much rather live with, than without...
But hey, my condition isn't at the highest level it can reach, i admit... There this thread on ARC, just too bad the pics aren't showing cause they were on Photobucket, this guy's condition is far more serious than mine... ;D:
