I can't help but Hobby Link Japan have both the 1/72 and the 1/48 kits in stock.

I'm pretty sure I could get you one off the shelf here in Seoul, but it'll cost you $17 plus whatever it costs for me to send it to you.  It might be worth it if you're interested in any Academy kits that I could bundle together to save you on shipping.  Hobby Link Japan is probably the best online option though.
