 I've been working on a few different things but stumbling upon this made me realise nothing's stopping me working on it!

For real, I do plan to get back to this. I hope I haven't lost the story...

Any chance of reposting some pics so I can remember what you were building?

Please and thank you.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Since you asked purtily, this thread is for the Sikorsky YAH-66:

One day I'll figure out how to build the winner of my version of the LHX competition, the YAH-69:

Here's a photo of some putty and plastic to show where things have sat for all this time. We recently moved to a new place and while unpacking in our new hobby room I discovered a lot of sandpaper I'd forgotten, so things can continue on this project soon.

After these photos I adjusted the horizontal stabiliser to get it as close to straight as I could. The other major changes done so far include straightening the fenestron/FANTAIL and vertical fin, recontouring the nose, and rebuilding the intakes and exhausts. The gun turret needs some reshaping and to be moved a little aft. I need to get all my material together so I can remember what needs doing, but once I get past my current commission I can focus on this much-neglected machine.
