Very nice Thomas, liking it a lot. I currently have a 2 seat Ouragan on the bench that is getting frowned at as I build other stuff to stop myself form getting annoyed with it. I think I will have to attach the canopy on it differently :banghead: You have me wondering now if a side by side version would have been doable.

I am sceptical in the Ouragan's case, because the air intake ducts run along the cockpit flanks. There's be hardly space for a side-by-side arrangement. In the Tunnan, the air intake runs under the cockpit, so the cockpit width is less critical.

I have taken the canopy off my Ouragan as it is the edges where it meets the fuselage that were causing me a headache. I did the edge with putty and it just kept cracking and chipping, and wasn't doing the canopy any good either. I have decided to try with a piece of styrene glued to the canopy base and going to work up to that. I will persevere with the tandem layout as the airflow to the engine would be a problem.

You could have the crew spaced WIDE apart, and run the intake air down a duct between them..........  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Small projects take a week, more complex works like this one here maybe two. And, yes, it becomes a space issue...  :-\
