Saw this on Twitter but then couldn't find it again, so I had to go web-searching. This sort of thing would make an interesting non-military whiff: use railway scenics parts to kit out an ex-military vehicle of any kind:

The magazine is fascinating.  Cigarette ads!  I remember them.  I particularly like the Camel one on page 9.

They have a bunch of 1:1 scale ones at the Helicopter Museum at Weston-Super-Mare too.

The magazine is fascinating.  Cigarette ads!  I remember them.  I particularly like the Camel one on page 9.

It could offer the unique experience of falling asleep drunk in it outside the pub, then having your wife fly it to the nearest lake and leaving you to find out the hard way that there's water outside the front door when you stagger out for a pee.

Still, at least it'll put your fag out....

Wasn't there a Hook variant that was fitted out as a headquarters, complete with folding tent extension?

Alternatively, imagine what you could do with a Skycrane or a Mil-10: drop s luxury 'caravan' off then take the helo off for fuel and unobtrusive parking. Then when all the winnebago and caravan owners are grimly contemplating the drive home down twisty roads with a line of hacked-off car drivers behind them, you fly in, pick up the 'van and sail off home over their heads....
