French T-6 Dive Bomber

The old MPC/Airfix kit, with dive flaps cut and (poorly) drilled with (misaligned) holes. The only part salvaged from the Airfix Douglas Dauntless will be the gun mount, maybe the gun as well. Teaser pic, a bit more work has been done since then.

DECAL DISASTER! 

The decals that came with the kit are awful. Applied a rudder decal and when it dried it curled up at the edges. Tried setting solution, no joy. Same with a wing roundel. Scraped them off.

So I'm going with a different country. There are some New Zealand decals from the Dauntless kit, so they may get used. Or maybe USN. Decisions, decisions.

She's got her boots on! Still to do is the machine gun, dive flaps, and finally the antenna, hopefully with some successfully attached stretched sprue. Bit of touch-up painting here and there, and she'll be done.
